CONFOTUR or Tax Benefits: 

CONFOTUR, which stands for
"Tourism Development Council," is an incentive granted by the government of the Dominican Republic to promote investment in the country's tourism sector. This contract provides a series of tax benefits and exemptions to tourism projects approved by the government. 

Some of the benefits of CONFOTUR include income tax exemption for a specified period, usually up to 15 years, exemption from real estate transfer tax, exemption from asset tax, among other tax and customs incentives. These benefits are intended to make investment in tourism projects more attractive and profitable for investors.
